Dr. Kimberley Joyce
Veterinarian, DVM

I am excited to be a member of the MacCormick Veterinary Services team! With a strong love for the human-animal bond, I have a gentle approach to everything I do. I enjoy taking the time to explore every aspect of your companion’s health and healing.

As a 1995 graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College, I have enjoyed practicing veterinary medicine for many years and feel honoured to join the MacCormick team.

I am truly looking forward to meeting you and your furry loved ones!

Dr. Bob Van Delst
Veterinarian, DVM

I am passionate about pets and their people. Having grown up on my family’s farm (in nearby Finch, Ontario), I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. Following graduation from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1995, I have had the pleasure of working in veterinary practices in rural, cottage, and urban settings. As a member of the MacCormick Veterinary Services team, I am thrilled to join a community so close to home.

Lisa
Animal Health Technician

I was raised in the country in Alexandria with lots of pets in the house, like cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, and birds. I knew from a young age that I wanted to help animals and that they are my passion. Working at MacCormick Veterinary Services has made that dream a reality. I have a cat named Turbo that sleeps next to me every night and a collie named Maya that keeps me active with daily walks.

I graduated from Université de Guelph – Campus d’Alfred as a veterinary technician in 2014 and started working at MacCormick veterinary services in June 2019.

Kathleen
Animal Health Technician

Hello, my name is Kathleen and I guess you could call me a “lifer” here at MacCormick Veterinary Services. I have been blessed to call this my home for over “29” years 😊

The staff here are amazing, loving and hard-working people. Our fur clients are always number one in our hearts and souls.

We look forward to seeing you.

Melissa
Animal Health Technician

My name is Melissa and I was born and raised in New Brunswick. I graduated from Oulton College as a Veterinary Technician in 2014 then worked in Halifax, Nova Scotia for three years before moving to Vankleek Hill in 2017. I have worked in various clinics, gaining experience in exotic animals, intensive care and emergency, and internal medicine. My passion lies with general practice and I was thrilled to join the MacCormick Veterinary Services team in 2020 after three years of working in a large pet hospital in Ottawa.

I have four cats named Abby, Teenie, Seamus, and Toby, as well as a toddler named Myles. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family, playing video games, and reading books.

Elodie
Animal Health Technician

My name is Elodie and I was raised right here in Vankleek Hill! My family and I always knew I would end up in the vet medicine world as I had a special interest in helping out with the family hobby farm. After high school, I graduated from the Algonquin College’s Veterinary Technician Program in the summer of 2021 and obtained my RVT status shortly after. I take pride in working with my team to ensure every patient gets the care they need to live a long and healthy life. In my free time, I love to travel and spend time with my senior pup named Bits.

Caitlin
Animal Health Technician

Hi, I’m Caitlin. I was born and raised in the Ottawa area. I graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Algonquin College in 2021, passing the national RVT exam a few months later. Upon graduating I began working at a pet hospital in Ottawa. I was very excited to become a part of the MacCormick Veterinary family in 2022. I look forward to work everyday knowing I get to spend it with wonderful humans and amazing furry friends.

My family home always had pets. We have shared many adventures with our dogs, ferrets, budgies and guinea pigs. I’m excited to soon welcome my new Sphynx kitten and miniature Bull Terrier into my home. When I’m not working I love to travel and spend time with friends and family.

Daphne
Administrative Manager

Hello! I’m the Administrative Manager, so I make sure things run smoothly for everyone. I have a previous degree in Geography and Environmental Management from the University of Waterloo, and attended Sheridan College’s Veterinary Technician program. I have worked at several other clinics in the Kitchener-Waterloo area before making my home in Vankleek Hill. In my spare time I like to cuddle my dogs and consume copious amounts of caffeine.

Trouble
Clinic Kitty

Clinic kitty extraordinaire. Trouble is often found sleeping on the nice warm front desk printer. Every now and then you may catch her wandering about checking out the exam rooms or the food room! Be sure to stop in and say hello.
